This Year

This year is really turning into the "year of education".

 I've been studying for years. Its taken me 9 years to do a Diploma in counselling that I started when I was pregnant with my first child. I've got 3 kids now and I have one unit left on the Diploma. It should have taken 2 years but life got in the way and I was in no rush.

 I'm also studying an Adv. Dip in Western Herbal Medicine. I don't know about other countries but in Australia this is a govt recognised profession and when I'm finished I'll be qualified to treat illness and administer herbal preparations to my patients.

 I've only just started the course and I've completed 5 subjects. I'm up to Anatomy and Physiology, then on to Chemistry and Biochemistry. After that is Disease Manifestations and I've finished the first block. Block 2 the clinic hours start and I'm quietly freaking out about that.

 On top if this I've also nearly finished a Crystal Master certification. I just have one more assignment to write up and I've lost the motivation for it. Well, I'm motivated to do it I just haven't found the perfect topic. I want it to be different.

 So I'm ahead in the WHM course and A&P doesn't start until the 26th of Aug. The last unit of the counselling must be in by November and I need to complete the crystal course by Nov too.

 But I just want to work on A&P.

 Now I'm procrastinating writing this boring blog because all the orders are packed for my small business and I really don't want to clean the kitchen.

 Also on the education topic, my partner is studying a Diploma in Community Services and another Diploma in Case Management. He just got a job mentoring a child at the local school. This is amazing and will look great on his resume!
